Eddsfield Airfield was created by Edd Peacock in the early nineties and still operates today as one of the best kept secrets in East Yorkshire.
Edd wanted an airfield to fly from with no politics, no committees and no hassle.
Just simply somewhere to come flying or with our British weather somewhere to come and talk about flying.
Set in the rolling hills of the East Yorkshire Wolds, with dales, villages and woodland all around, we probably have the best located airfield you will find with breathtaking views all around.
We do not operate a "club" as one of the aims was to provide a friendly,informal and personal atmosphere, I hope we have achieved it.

Runways: 09 LH / 27 RH Grass Runway 750m x 20m Circuits 1000 AAL
All circuits to the North of the airfield, and well to the North of the local road in valley bottom.All visiting aircraft welcome from sunrise to sunset at pilots own risk.
Refreshments in our well equipped caravan clubhouse available.
Runwways are well prepared with white designators.
Avgas 100LL available at the cheapest price in East Yorkshire.
*As From the 30th September 2018 all aircraft wishing to use this service must be 8.33 compliant. Not normally manned so please make blind calls.
